Under limited supervision, provides support to the credit union’s marketing function through the implementation of marketing campaigns, initiatives and efforts in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Assists with special projects.
Principal Accountabilities (95%)
Designs community booth materials, including promotional items.
Designs corporate event materials, to include: invitations, banners, emails, nametags, etc.
Orders lists for both digital and print marketing campaigns.
Participates in community relations activities, when necessary.
Produces ATM and in-branch video marketing assets.
Proofs and edits marketing pieces prior to production.
Provides excellent customer service with timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests, meeting agreed upon deadlines.
Provides graphic design support for the credit union’s marketing and sales efforts to include: flyers, statement inserts, brochures, take-ones and ads (both print and digital).
Provides support to the department’s functions and processes; and, ensures all tasks are completed accurately and timely to meet tight deadlines.
Tracks and compiles member service and marketing initiative data.
Tracks and files all marketing materials.
Updates the internal Intranet to ensure all materials are current.
Secondary Accountabilities (5%)
Serves as a backup to the Marketing Coordinator.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with BSA requirements as commensurate with position.
Position Requirement and Qualifications
Employee should have excellent design skills. They should be proficient in PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator, as well as have outstanding communication skills, the ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time, be deadline oriented, and produce high-quality marketing communication pieces. Additionally, the employee should possess outstanding editing and proofreading skills. They should work collaboratively in a team environment to support the overall credit union’s strategic objectives. They should also operate using sound judgement while identifying process improvement opportunities to ensure the Marketing Department is running efficiently.
Knowledge, Education, Certifications, Licenses, Experience:
Employee should have strong computer and administrative skills as well as basic marketing knowledge. They should be proficient on a Macintosh computer, as well as all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Requires one-two years’ experience or equivalent in a marketing support role. Equivalent work experience and/or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
Work is performed primarily in a marketing office environment as well as in the community. This position does require physical effort to include: community booth set up activities, meeting coordination and the packaging/distributing of marketing materials, all of which include lifting, pushing and carrying of supplies to support credit union initiatives.
