    California Credit Union is seeking an experienced Senior HR Analyst to join our growing HR team based in our Glendale, CA Headquarters. This role will have a specialized area of focus in reporting, systems, processes, and analytics. This position is responsible for HRIS systems, creation of reports, analytics, process improvement, and project planning. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders in all parts of the company and in HR to assess and understand reporting and analytics needs and develop sustainable and scalable reports, reporting solutions, and processes to meet those needs. This role will report to the AVP, Payroll & HR Operations and will work closely with SVP, Human Resources.

    Responsibilities

    General Summary

    The Sr. HR Analyst role will have a specialized area of focus in reporting, systems, processes, and analytics.  Responsibilities include HRIS systems, creation of reports, analytics, process improvement, and project planning.  This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders in all parts of the company and in HR to assess and understand reporting and analytics needs and develop sustainable and scalable reports, reporting solutions, and processes to meet those needs. This role will report to the AVP, Payroll & HR Operations and will work closely with SVP, Human Resources.

     

    Principal Accountabilities (95%)

    • Collaborate with Human Resource Leaders, IT, Subject Matter Experts, and business leaders to ensure reports and dashboards meet current and ongoing needs.
    • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and specialty reports and analysis as needed.
    • Evaluate data from multiple sources, reconcile differences and provide a consistent approach and interpretation to results.
    • Identify trends and patterns through data and develop recommendations to support business objectives.
    • Develop sustainable and scalable tools and processes to ensure accuracy of master data and train HR on tools and processes to ensure ongoing data integrity.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and employment law compliance are met.
    • Develop and implement best in class solutions for reporting and presenting data to the business.
    • Lead and/ or support HR audits, system implementations and new program research and analysis
    • Manage HR data files, create SharePoint sites and manage the HR Intranet Site.
    • Will work on other projects as assigned related to HR needs.

    Secondary Accountabilities (5%)

    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Provides support to other areas of the department.
    • Complies with BSA requirements as commensurate with position.

    Qualifications

     Knowledge, Education, Certifications, Licenses: 

    • BA or BS in Business or analytical field preferred
    • Project Management Certification helpful

     Experience: 

    • Financial Services experience helpful, but similar industry will be considered
    • 5+ years HR Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, and/ or Reporting & Analytics, Process Improvement, and Project Management skills
    • Broad understanding of HR and key functional areas preferred
    • Experience with HRIS and ATS Systems; preferably Ceridian & iCIMS
    • Previous working experience with payroll helpful
    • Advanced MS Office skills using Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Expert analytical skills, strong business acumen, and experience with data visualization principles
