North Island Credit Union is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager in San Diego.
This position is responsible for providing product knowledge support, operational and service leadership to branch employees including motivation and ongoing training. Under the guidance of the AVP, Branch Operations, partners with branch management teams to ensure operational and administrative controls are applied consistently throughout the branch network according to documented policies and procedures.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong leadership and motivational skills; excellent planning, coaching/mentoring, judgement, analysis, member service and time management skills. Computer proficiency including Word and Excel preferred.
Knowledge, Education, Certifications, Licenses: In depth knowledge and thorough understanding of regulations related to financial institution branch operations, new accounts and consumer lending. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Completion of related classes (internal/external), such as New Accounts, Consumer Lending, Product Knowledge, and compliance courses, etc., preferred.
Experience: Requires seven years of work experience in a financial institution in all facets of branch operations at a management level to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle all aspects of the position. Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
